OUR DENTAL TEAM

All of our team members here at Perfect Choice Dental, P.C. provide patients with the best care possible. We are very involved in pursuing continuing education opportunities to stay on the cutting edge of all dental procedures and products. We make it a point to provide our patients with nothing but predictable dental procedures or products, because our patients deserve the best!

All members of our staff have completed and maintain an up-to-date certificate for BLS (basic life support) for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association.

The doctor and his hygienists are licensed to pratice in the State of Illinois. Dr. Overmyer is also a member of the McHenry County Dental Society, Illinois Dental Society and the American Dental Association.

 We feel it is important for you to know that we each strive to make every patient feel comfortable from their very first visit, as we know many people are reluctant when it comes to visiting the dentist. Not any more!

Dr. Brian P. Overmyer

Dr. Overmyer graduated from a Big Ten School in 1991. He knew from the very young age of 11 that he wanted to be a dentist. He was very driven to pursue the craft he had seen and heard of as a young boy. He knew that one day this was something he would excel at.

The doctor is very detail oriented. He ensures that he produces esthetically pleasing work that is built to last.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Overmyer loves reading, the outdoors and enjoys a variety of hobbies.

 

Tanya - Administrative Office Assistant & Clinical Assistant:
I have been a part of Dr. Overmyer's team since 2003 as both an administrative office assistant and clinical assistant. My job is very fulfilling as I get to see so many sides of dentistry. I am always willing to learn new things and love to share my knowledge with our patients. My personal goal is to ensure our patients are informed and comfortable when it comes to decisions regarding their oral health. I am confident that our team provides patients with high quality, informative dental care!

Jessica - Clinical Assistant:
I have been dental assisting for Dr. Overmyer since 2006. I enjoy dental assisting because it teaches me something new everyday, and I can learn things about people. Nothing in the dental office is ever the same and I can always find something to do. I appreciate being motivated and helping people solve problems. I believe education, understanding and communication are very important to our patients as well as other co-workers. I take pride in teaching people the importance behind regular cleanings and continual maintenance to maintain a healthy mouth.

Vicki -- Dental Hygienist:
I hold a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. With 25 years experience as a Dental Hygienist, I am committed to helping patients achieve and maintain optimum oral health care by providing high quality therapeutic, educational and preventive dental hygiene services.

Jane -- Dental Hygienist:  
I am the newest addition to Dr. Overmyer's team. I graduated from Harper College Dental Hygiene Program. I was first introduced to the dental field in 2007 where I became the dental assistant for a well-respected and internationally known cosmetic dentist while studying for a marketing degree in Vancouver, British Columbia. This incredible experience inspired me to pursue a fulfilling career in dental hygiene. I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity and am eager to provide my patients with the best oral health care possible. Enhancing people's general health and their smiles is such a privilege. Additionally, I am an animal lover, an outdoor seeker, world traveler, and a yoga enthusiast.
